Weapons and Armour
Pax Autocratica weapons are manufactured in your colony and reshaped by Weapon Cores. No official weapon list or stats exist yet — here is what is confirmed.
Weapons in Pax Autocratica sit at the junction of the game’s two halves: they are produced by the colony sim and used in the first-person roguelite shooter. That connection is confirmed, and it is more useful than any weapon list would be.
There is no weapon list. Nobody outside Multiverse has one.
How Do You Get Weapons in Pax Autocratica?
Section titled “How Do You Get Weapons in Pax Autocratica?”They are built by your citizens. Manufacturing is one of five confirmed jobs — alongside mining, gathering, hauling and research — and its confirmed outputs are weapons, armour, food and supplies.
This is the structural fact worth understanding before Early Access: armament is a colony output, not a shop purchase. A population producing weapons is a population not producing food, and the people doing that work are being held in line through fear, propaganda, surveillance and punishment, or comfort and prosperity.
What has not been published: production times, resource costs, research prerequisites, storage limits, whether troops are equipped from the same stock as the player, and whether equipment is lost on a failed run.
What Weapon Cores Do
Section titled “What Weapon Cores Do”Do Weapon Cores change your guns in Pax Autocratica? Yes — this is one of the clearest confirmed statements about the shooter half.
Multiverse describes Weapon Cores as reshaping how your guns handle. Not raw damage percentages: handling. That wording points at feel and behaviour rather than a stat bump, which is consistent with roguelite core systems that change what a weapon is between runs.
Two other core categories are confirmed: Combination Cores, which create synergies between different core sets, and a category that strengthens your troops or turns them into sacrificial shields. Full detail is on the cores page.
No core names, counts, rarities or effect values have been published by Multiverse.
What You Are Shooting Into
Section titled “What You Are Shooting Into”The incoming side is described more concretely than your own arsenal. Multiverse names bullets, lasers, missiles, drones, artillery, and overlapping projectile patterns — an explicit bullet-hell reading of a first-person shooter.
Battlefield units confirmed to appear: infantry, tanks and mechs. Combat scales from desperate skirmishes up to large-scale mechanised warfare, and hostile ships are confirmed as an environment you fight in.
High-end opposition is named in three tiers: elite enemies, bosses, and Sector Overlords.
Is There a Weapon List for Pax Autocratica?
Section titled “Is There a Weapon List for Pax Autocratica?”No, and this is where most competing coverage quietly fails.
Not published: weapon names, weapon classes, ammo types, reload or handling stats, damage numbers, tier rankings, armour sets, armour values, attachment or upgrade systems, and whether weapons persist between runs or reset like typical roguelite loadouts.
A “best weapons tier list” for an unreleased game with no published weapon names is fabricated by definition. This wiki will publish one when there is something real to rank.
Test the Handling Yourself
Section titled “Test the Handling Yourself”The free Prologue has been on Steam since December 2025, so the gunplay is playable today at no cost — you do not have to take anyone’s word for how it feels.
Useful things to note while playing, since none are documented: how much Weapon Cores actually alter handling versus damage, whether manufacturing capacity ever bottlenecks your runs, and how the troop-shield option changes your risk appetite in a firefight.
Remember the caveats: battle scale in the Prologue is smaller than Early Access, mechs are absent, and balance may change before August 10. See Prologue vs Early Access.
