Elysia: The First Sector

Elysia is the first sector of Pax Autocratica and the setting of the free Prologue. What is confirmed about it, the Elysia Oasis, and what is still unknown.

Elysia is the first sector of Pax Autocratica — the opening territory of the Tyris System, and the only sector Multiverse has named so far. It matters more than a typical “starting zone”, because it is also the entire setting of the free Prologue: everything the public can currently play happens in Elysia.

Multiverse’s Prologue description sets the mission plainly: arrive in the first sector, establish your regime, spread your doctrine, and liberate Elysia from the powers that currently rule it. “Liberate” is doing heavy lifting in that sentence — you are replacing the existing oppression with your own State, through the game’s mix of colony building, citizen management and first-person roguelite combat.

That is the confirmed frame. Elysia’s size, its map layout, its factions and its story beats beyond that mission statement have not been published.

Because the Prologue is set in Elysia and has been free on Steam since December 1, 2025, this sector is the one part of the game you can verify yourself instead of taking anyone’s word for it.

The Prologue’s official boundaries still apply inside Elysia: smaller base scale, smaller battles, and no deeper automation, mechs or other late-game mechanics. The Prologue vs Early Access page tracks exactly what Multiverse says is held back.

Whether Early Access Elysia is larger or content-identical to Prologue Elysia is not announced — the base and battle scale differences suggest at least some expansion, but Multiverse has not detailed it.

The Elysia Oasis is a named location inside the sector, and it is one of the few Elysia specifics with an official paper trail — it appears repeatedly in Multiverse’s demo patch notes:

  • The Oasis has its own decisive battle, which Multiverse has reduced in difficulty three times across official demo updates (June 26, July 7 and July 28, 2026). Full patch trail and the final-phase weak point mechanic: Elysia Oasis Decisive Battle.
  • A July 2026 update improved the quest guidance for the Elysia Oasis, alongside flow fixes for the early-game quests Space Resources and Engage the Scourgeborn.

That is everything published: a named location, a decisive battle at it, and active tuning. The Elysia Oasis patch trail is the cleanest place to check what Multiverse has actually confirmed about the encounter. No lore, rewards or layout details have been released — anything more specific than the above is invented.

  • How many sectors exist beyond Elysia — no count for Early Access or 1.0.
  • Whether sectors unlock in a fixed order, or whether Elysia is mandatory in the full game.
  • Elysia’s map size, biomes or faction names.
  • Whether Prologue progress in Elysia carries into Early Access.
