Pax Autocratica is a Windows PC game, and no console version exists or has been announced. Steam’s own platform data lists Windows as the only supported system — macOS and Linux are marked unsupported, and there is no PS5, Xbox or Nintendo listing anywhere.
This page exists because one detail on the store page keeps creating the opposite impression: the game officially supports DualShock and DualSense controllers. PlayStation controller support reads like a PlayStation signal. It is not — and mixing the two up is exactly how “Pax Autocratica PS5 release date” articles with no source get written.

The free Prologue has its own separate Steam listing, and it shows exactly the same thing: Windows only.
PS5 and Xbox Status

Searches for a PS5 release date are common for this game, so it is worth being precise: there is no PS5 release date because there is no PS5 version. Any date you see attached to “Pax Autocratica PS5” is the PC Early Access date of August 10, 2026 being recycled without the platform caveat. Why People Assume There Is a Console Version

Yes. The Steam listing confirms full controller support, including DualShock and DualSense controllers — but that applies to the Windows PC version. Controller support is not a sign of a console release.

Steam Deck

Unknown. Valve has not published a Steam Deck compatibility rating for Pax Autocratica, and the store listing is Windows-only. Multiverse has referred to the Deck twice: on August 13, 2026 it named the Steam Deck virtual keyboard issue as something being worked on or investigated, and its August 25, 2026 patch (Directive AG-25) fixed the virtual keyboard not opening for text input on Steam Deck. Neither is a compatibility statement, and no rating has followed.
Deck ratings (Verified / Playable / Unsupported) usually appear around or after release, once Valve has tested the shipping build. This page will record the rating when one exists rather than guessing at one now.
Mac and Linux

No. The Steam listing marks both macOS and Linux as unsupported, and no port has been announced. The free Prologue is also Windows-only.
The confirmed system requirements are Windows 10 64-bit and up — if your machine is Apple or Linux, there is currently no supported way to play.
Will That Change?

Not announced. Multiverse has said nothing about console plans for any stage of development. This page tracks the official listings and will be updated if that changes.
The game entered Steam Early Access on August 10, 2026, and Multiverse expects Early Access to run approximately two years.
