Pax Autocratica Early Access Roadmap
Multiverse's official Pax Autocratica Early Access roadmap, reproduced in full from the launch announcement, plus what it confirms about the current build.
Multiverse published an Early Access roadmap on August 10, 2026, inside the launch announcement. It arrived as an image rather than text, which is why most sites covering the launch missed it. Reproduced here in full, unchanged.
Does Pax Autocratica have an official roadmap?
Yes. Multiverse published an Early Access roadmap as an image inside the launch announcement on August 10, 2026. It lists planned features in two groups: general additions, and content tied to a third and fourth sector. It carries no dates of any kind.
The Roadmap, Reproduced
Section titled “The Roadmap, Reproduced”| Planned features | Third & fourth sector |
|---|---|
| Prisoner Conversion System V2 | New large-scale battlefields |
| Soldier/player affinity & new interactions | New combat missions |
| Soldier/soldier & soldier/player marriage | New heavy enemy units |
| Soldier/player sexual relationships | New soldiers |
| Colony crisis events | New types of POI in space |
| New ways to strengthen soldiers | New bosses |
| More sources of Credchips, including automated income | New weapons |
| Steam Achievements | New Core Fragments |
| Online Co-op | New base buildings & decorations |
Multiverse attached its own caveat directly to the image:
“The specific content we develop, as well as the order in which it is released, may be adjusted based on player feedback.”
When will Pax Autocratica roadmap features be released?
Multiverse has not said. The roadmap contains no dates, no version numbers and no ordering commitment. The company attached its own caveat to the image, stating that the specific content developed and the order of release may be adjusted based on player feedback. Early Access overall is expected to last approximately two years.
Read every line above as intent, not schedule. Any site presenting a dated Pax Autocratica roadmap invented the dates.
What the Roadmap Confirms About Co-op
Section titled “What the Roadmap Confirms About Co-op”Is co-op on the Pax Autocratica roadmap?
Yes. Online Co-op is listed as a planned feature. That wording settles a question the store page left open: the co-op Multiverse intends to build is online rather than local. No date is attached and the game is single-player at launch.
This is the roadmap’s single most useful line. Before August 10, the store page’s Early Access Q&A said only that co-op was something Multiverse hoped to develop — it never said what form. “Online Co-op” is the first confirmation of the form. Full detail on multiplayer and co-op.
What It Confirms About Achievements
Section titled “What It Confirms About Achievements”Steam Achievements appear as a planned feature, which resolves a contradiction worth knowing about. The Steam store page does not list Achievements among the game’s features, and the free Prologue has run since December 2025 without them. So both statements are true at once: not implemented, and officially planned. See achievements.
What It Confirms About Mods
Section titled “What It Confirms About Mods”Are mods on the Pax Autocratica roadmap?
No. Mod support, Steam Workshop and a level editor appear nowhere on the roadmap. That absence is not a refusal, and it is no longer total silence either: three days later, on August 13, 2026, Multiverse named mod support among player requests being worked on or investigated. So mods sit outside the roadmap but inside the conversation - acknowledged, undated, and at an earlier stage than anything listed here.
This absence is more informative than it looks, and it survived a test. Three days after publishing the roadmap, Multiverse responded to community feedback and named mod support as something being worked on or investigated — but did not add it to the roadmap. A request acknowledged in a feedback post while remaining off the published plan is at an earlier stage than every item in the table above. See mods.
Added After the Roadmap Was Published
Section titled “Added After the Roadmap Was Published”The roadmap is a snapshot of August 10. Multiverse has since teased one feature that is not on it, which is worth tracking separately rather than quietly folding into the table above.
What is Multiverse adding beyond the roadmap?
One item so far. On August 19, 2026 Multiverse teased a custom colony settings panel intended to let players adjust a wide range of simulation parameters. It is not on the August 10 roadmap and has no date, so it is best read as a second, later layer of intent on top of the published plan.
The official wording, from the August 19 announcement marking 100,000 players:
“We’re working on a custom colony settings panel. The goal is to let you tweak a wide range of simulation parameters, so you can shape the colony experience much more closely around how you want to play.”
Two things are worth noting. The announcement labelled this “a small teaser” and said more about what comes next would be shared soon — so the roadmap should be expected to grow rather than stay fixed at eighteen items. And no parameters were named: which simulation values become adjustable is entirely unpublished, and this wiki will not guess at them.
Three Things the Roadmap Reveals About the Current Build
Section titled “Three Things the Roadmap Reveals About the Current Build”A roadmap describes the future, but the wording leaks facts about the present. Three inferences are safe because they follow directly from how items are phrased:
1. Early Access currently has fewer than three sectors. The roadmap groups content under “3rd & 4th sector” as something still to be developed. Whether the current build has one sector or two, Multiverse has not said — and this wiki will not guess.
2. A Prisoner Conversion System already exists. The planned item is V2, which means a V1 shipped. See prisoners and conversion.
3. Credchips currently have no automated income. “More sources of Credchips, including automated income” lists automated income as an addition, so it is not in the game now. Credchips are the in-game currency, named in the launch announcement.
Those three, and only those three. Everything else on the roadmap describes what is coming, not what exists.
New Proper Nouns From the Launch Announcement
Section titled “New Proper Nouns From the Launch Announcement”The same announcement put several names on the record for the first time:
| Term | What is officially known |
|---|---|
| Auroria | The world. The announcement reads “Auroria is waiting for its new Leader” |
| Credchips | In-game currency |
| Core Fragments | Listed as new content for the third and fourth sectors. See cores |
| Colony Crisis Events | A planned feature. No mechanics published |
Nothing beyond these one-line descriptions has been published. Where this wiki has no detail, it says so rather than filling the gap.
How Long Is Early Access?
Section titled “How Long Is Early Access?”Multiverse’s own estimate, given in the Steam Early Access Q&A, is approximately two years, with the standard caveat that it may change with development progress and player feedback. Combined with an undated roadmap, that is the realistic frame: these features are spread across roughly two years, in an order that may shift.
