Four languages is a modest list, which is normal for an Early Access title from a self-publishing studio — Multiverse both develops and publishes the game.
Is Pax Autocratica voice acted? Yes. English carries Steam’s full audio marker, which specifically means spoken dialogue rather than text alone. For a game built on propaganda, indoctrination and interrogation, voice work is not decoration; broadcast messaging and prisoner conversion are systems that read very differently spoken aloud than written on a panel.
The other three languages are listed without full audio, so expect subtitles and translated interface with English speech, unless Multiverse announces otherwise.
Does Pax Autocratica Have Chinese Language Support?

Two limits are worth stating plainly. Traditional Chinese is not listed — only Simplified. And Chinese voice acting has not been announced, so Chinese-language play means English audio with Chinese text.
Simplified Chinese appearing in a launch list of only four languages is a deliberate choice rather than an afterthought, given the size of the Chinese PC market for colony sims and roguelites. But translation quality is unknown until release, and this wiki has no basis to predict it.
Will More Languages Be Added?
Section titled “Will More Languages Be Added?”Not announced by Multiverse. No localisation roadmap exists, and no timeline has been given for additional languages.
Two things follow. Early Access language support can change — this is content in active development, and the language list on the store page today is a statement about launch, not a commitment for the full release. And since Multiverse has not published an Early Access roadmap of any kind, there is nothing to cite about future localisation.
If your purchase depends on a language not on the list, the honest answer is that no one can currently tell you whether it is coming.
Check It Yourself Before Buying
Section titled “Check It Yourself Before Buying”The free Prologue has been on Steam since December 2025 and carries the same language support as the main game.
This makes localisation unusually easy to evaluate in advance: install the Prologue at no cost, set your language, and read the actual in-game text before committing to the Early Access release — whose price has not been announced.
Worth checking specifically: whether interface text fits properly in your language, and whether the satirical tone of the writing survives translation. Tone is where localisation in a game like this most often falls down, and it is the part of Pax Autocratica most likely to matter to you.
